New Hoole Loyalty Scheme snapped up by shoppers

More than 500 people have registered for the pioneering new Hoole Loyalty Scheme, which launched earlier this month.

Twenty-Six Hoole businesses have already signed up to the scheme, including cafés, restaurants, and bars, in addition to shops and other local service providers such as hairdressers.

The Loyalty Card can be collected from any participating business and registered on the in-store tablet or on the Love Hoole website. It can then be used at any venue in the trading group and the 1,000th person to register will receive a prize.

Once signed up, card users can easily check their point balances via the Love Hoole website or in store. Customers can even donate their points to their favourite local charity or not-for-profit organisation.

The scheme has been developed by leading loyalty reward specialist Loyalty Pro, which is based in Deeside.

Rob Meakin, Technical Director of Loyalty Pro, said: “We are delighted that so many people have signed up for their cards in the first few weeks of launch.

“Another 5 local businesses have asked if they can join the scheme and they will be ready to accept the cards in the next few days.

“This first-of-its-kind scheme will benefit the whole Hoole community, with instant monetary reward vouchers for customers when they make a qualifying purchase from any of our participating stores.

“The Love Hoole group will be able to relay offers, community information and event details to the cardholders via email, text, and at the counter on the tablet display.

“The beauty of the scheme is that customers only need one loyalty card for lots of different shops, which is much more convenient.

“Our research has shown that people like the added bonus of using their loyalty points to help a local charity.”

Love Hoole chairman Anthony Elston, founder of Kitchens by Anthony, said: “Our pioneering loyalty scheme is quickly gathering momentum with five more businesses on board in the last week alone.

“We are keen to hear from more local businesses who would like to get involved – Hoole is a really special community and people travel for miles to shop here.

“We want our loyalty card to bring the Hoole community closer together. Our vision is to revitalise Hoole town centre, reward our loyal customers and provide an incentive for new people to visit the area.”
